How It Works
This calculator estimates your daily water needs based on a common guideline:
Base intake = weight (kg) x 0.033 liters
Adjustments are then added for activity level and climate:
Activity: Exercise increases water loss through sweat. Add 0.35–1.4 liters depending on how active you are.
Climate: Hot and humid environments increase perspiration. Add 0.5–1.0 liters in warm or hot climates.
One standard glass of water is approximately 250 ml (8 oz).
